With one of the most attractive casts on TV, it is no surprise the debut of CW’s Vampire Diaries pulled in more viewers than any other new show launch in the network's history. Thanks to series hairstylist Randa Squillacote and the #1 product line found on today’s top TV and movie sets, White Sands Hair Care products, staying beautiful has never been so easy in the midst of the good and evil battle between vampires.

Looking for the juicy, backstage secrets on how to copy the hairstyles of your favorite Vampire Diaries beauty? Randa Squillacote shares her on set tips to achieve their star style with ease.

Actress Nina Dobrev as “Elena”
Nina has medium thickness and a natural wavy pattern to start.

To achieve this look:

1. Shampoo and condition hair with White Sands Vegan
Volumizing Shampoo and Volumizing Conditioner for a clean canvas.

2. Blow dry hair with a large round brush, spraying sections with White Sands Liquid Texture Medium Hold for its thermal protection and color enhancers. This technique creates volume and shine with just a round brush in hand.

3. Using White Sands Liquid Texture Firm Hold, flat iron hair in sections starting at the crown and lift straight up. Turn iron slightly at the middle of each hair strand to the ends for a slight bend and beautiful wave. Iron all hair sections in the same direction and let hair cool.

4. Brush and finger comb in place and spray with White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray.

Actress Candice Accola as “Caroline”
Candice has thick, natural wavy hair to start.

To achieve this look:

1. Shampoo and condition hair with White Sands Vegan Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner to thoroughly cleanse, while infusing a vital moisture balance back into each strand.

2. Blow dry hair with a medium round brush for fullness.

3. Spray entire head with White Sands Liquid Texture Firm Hold.

Section off 1-inch partings starting at the nape area. Take these 1-inch sections and using a 1-inch barrel curling iron, curl hair from ends to scalp (like a roller). Remove iron and clip into place until entire head is set. Wait until cooled.

4. Remove clips and brush out for a soft, sexy, wavy style. Spray with White Sands Infinity Finishing Spray for a flexible hold that repels outside moisture, while providing a long lasting style: a must on set!

Actress Katerina Graham as “Bonnie”
Katerina has medium thick and relaxed curly hair to start.

1. Shampoo and condition hair with White Sands Vegan Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner to improve hydration levels and stand strength.

2. Spray on White Sands Porosity the Fix and apply Curl up in Silk Medium Mousse to define texture and remove frizz, drying tresses under a hairdryer.

3. Spray entire head with White Sands Liquid Texture Medium Hold.
Take 1-inch partings, starting at nape. Gather each 1-inch section and hold a 1 ½ inch curling iron vertical and wrap hair around barrel from scalp to ends.

4. Let curls drop and separate with White Sands Smudge Texture Creme for a soft relaxed curl look

Scarlett Johannson's Latest Hair How-To

Celebrity hairdresser David Babaii traveled across the ocean to Tokyo, Japan to create this Red Carpet look for actress Scarlett Johannson at the Moet & Chandon "Tribute to Cinema" on October 20, 2009.

To create this "power look" and accentuate her fire red dress, David Babaii took Scarlett Johansson's long strawberry blonde hair and transformed her tresses into a dramatic side swept, short textured bob. After rough drying her locks with Hair Polish applied to damp hair, David loosely twirled large sections of hair and sprayed them with Bohemian Beach Spray, while finishing the drying process.

When hair was completely dried, he used his fingers as a comb to gently loosen the twirled sections. He continued using his fingers to sweep hair to one side as not to disturb the texture he achieved, cupping her long locks under giving the illusion of shorter hair. He secured the style with bobby pins and sprayed his Mise en Plis Light Styling Spray for a soft long lasting hold.

This instantly protects tresses from continued styling, sealing in moisture to reveal frizz free, silky, and revitalized tresses.

The Vivace 1 Inch Flat Iron even offers a variable temperature setting, allowing hair to be styled anywhere from 140°F to 450°F.

For further unmatched styling capabilities and health benefits, the added feature of Nano Hi-Tech Technology creates even smoother styles through its advanced combination of three distinct Nano technologies, Nano Ti + Nano TiO + Nano Ag. The moisturizing element of Nano Ttanium, work together with the cleansing and purifying characteristics of Nano Titanium Oxide and Nano Silver, to leave your hair healthier, shinier, and more vibrant, while free of harmful bacteria and free radical pollutants.
